Oh gawd!! Just as I thought I had my spec specced, she who must be obeyed throws a spanner in the works by saying she prefers the beige leather.

I'm thinking off black, can't really see the beige going with the silver colour?

Does beige also mean the boot etc are all similar colour? Can't see that being practical! Struggling to find many pics of the interiors of the new XC60 that clearly show how it looks.

I have an XC60, 2 months old in Seashell with beige interior (I decided that beige might not go with Silver). All leather/plastic is beige with the exception of the dash top which is black. The carpeted areas are also beige.

I like it!

I had a similar debate....In an ideal world I would have chosen the beige as I prefer the colour. I had beige in a previous car and it was so much more difficult to maintain its original colour. As such I ordered the off-black interior for my XC60; the interior is still light as the roof is beige and I have a panoramic sunroof. For me, with two young children, the black is the preferred option.

If you wear Jeans avoid the Beige Leather otherwise you will be fretting about all the marks & blue colour stains the whole time. Also it just does not go with Electric Silver at all.

My VW caravelle has beige leather seats. They looked really good when I picked it up but then the kids got in and two years later I'm wishing I got black. Looks good with a darker paint colour but not sure about with silver.

This is really down to personal choice....but I would personally never chose a car with beige interior.

Much thanks for all the feedback, looks like most of us are in agreement that beige would not look good with silver. Off-black it is!
