Hmm...if it's going to be something of a cross between the existing V60, the new XC60 and the V90 it should be very interesting indeed...

Had a V90 as a loan car while my V60 was in for warranty work - it was the Sales Manager's car so top spec. Have to say that, apart from the colour (a rather wishy-washy (IMHO) blue) I loved it and even SWMBO was impressed. Trouble is the price tag they currently come with!!

And some possible full reveals (although speculation they’ve been photoshopped on swede USA forum)

That page that was shown earlier, is no longer there - maybe they were actual leaked pictures which Volvo have forced to be taken down..............

An analyse of the rear rake vs the V90. A little more upright but far from the Volvos of yesteryear...

(Apologies, as my pix are not scaling so coming in supersized from Imgur)

Can't understand why they have to follow merc/bmw in the rear, a 90 deg back end allows so much more to go in the boot.

I really like the look of it....will it have more load space than the current v60? which is a little tight

What power plant will go in it considering Volvo are supposed to be going hybrid/battery powered.....will it just be a car for the rich?....as who can afford to run one of these without a fuel account if it is not diesel?

If they don’t release the T6 in the UK it will be a massive failure and will certainly cause me (and most company car drivers) to go elsewhere. The co2 emissions on all new models are awful without the phev, literally nobody will get one of those (unless they particularly like paying tax). I’m astonished that it’s not being released as a flagship for the range.

According to last week's Auto Express, there will be T4, T5, T6 and T8 versions available, although suggesting T6 not until next year.

Also a V60CC version will be available.
