Seeing all the cars on the news reports spinning wheels on level roads with a mild covering of snow makes me realise how the great British public just don't understand how important the correct tyres are for the season.

The Crossclimate are the most appropriate uk all season, little compromise in snow, yet still very good, for pretty much no compromise in summer.

Take a look here http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Article...erm-Review.htm for comparison to a summer tyre. The crossclimate did see snow after this article, in the deluge we had this year, and whilst half-worn by that point, drove around people on some very steep hills!

My tyres are now almost due for replacement so have ordered a set of Cross Climates to be fitted when the car gets serviced.

As an update, my front pirelli scorpion's lasted 30,000 (almost exactly) and also almost exactly 2 years! (3 weeks in it) down to 2-3mm, just had them replaced with the same. £132 a corner, not cheap but happy with them, as a comparison they have increased in price by £22 from the price I paid 2 years ago.

Mixed driving.

Rears still going.

Cross-Climates in 18" for mine are coming in at about £135 per corner supplied & fitted by the dealer when it's in for service.

Maybe I could have got them a bit cheaper but cars in for a service & MOT, the tyres are almost on the wear markers so getting it all done in one visit makes sense esp when working away from home Mon-Fri.

That is a very good price for the CrossClimates 18", don't think you will beat that anywhere else!

That does sound good for dealer prices - I had to search the Web all over to find a good price for mine!
