Thanks for the info.
The wiring loom that currently covers the wires is so brittle that it crumbles when you touch it. The car is old, being a 2000 and does not appear to be taken care of very well. Thought I would change the wire covering while I was working on the other items. |

Got it. The black, plastic "wire holder togetherer" conduit stuff.
Make certain to get high temperature "loom". I went to an electric supply house and bought a bunch of the stuff to supply my life for years ahead. Turns out I bought interior grade stuff which crumbled away almost immediately. Never drop your guard. |

So I got the ETM off and cleaned up. However I noticed that I have a film of oil in the in the tube leading to the ETM, is this normal?

Normal, yes but not desirable. A failing seal on the turbocharger's shaft can lead to oil in the "charge air path".

Well, everything is back together and the Idle is better maybe not perfect but close. Going to change the spark plugs next weekend to see how that Improves things
