Default 1966 LHD Amazon project

I bought this with the intention of harvesting lots of useful and valuable parts for my identical 66 Amazon, and an engine for my Laplander.

It is however pretty well complete, and so I want to offer it up as a viable project, to someone who doesn't mind a good bit of welding.

It's a 1966 4 door in red
Originally Swiss registered, last on the road in Germany a good number of years ago, and it has been dry stored since.

Key points:

B20 with twin SUs. Turns over by hand, haven't had a chance to try starting it.
Sports exhaust - perhaps an older Simonz one
Overdrive gearbox
Estate 5.5J wheels
light green tint to all the glass - perhaps a Swiss market thing?
Front seats professionally recovered in red/black colour scheme
Sports steering wheel
Chromework nearly all present - front bumper has some damage.

In the main, it looks to be a welding and painting project, it was clearly setup well and was someone's pride and joy. As with any classic car, it's hard to say exactly how much welding it needs. The car isn't rotten, but the majority of panels I've had a look at need a repair section or two. Wings are good, nose panel and bonnet are good, doors are saveable but I have some NOS ones which are available separately.

It's in Cumbria for anyone wanting a look. I have a trailer, and I can sort delivery anywhere in the UK/Ireland (or indeed Europe - if the LHD helps)

Photos to follow - or send me a PM.

And the important part - I'm hoping to get £2500 if I can.

Hi if you decide to break it I would be interested in the estate wheels.
Kind regards

Haven't received any PMs I'm afraid.

I'll pop some photos up when I get a chance, in the next couple of days hopefully!
