  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Thanks. I saw brakeint did the pins and was planning to get them from there as I think Volvo wanted around £40 for the pin kit. I will see if an engineering shop can drill the pin out but was advised against it as if the inside where the pin slides gets damaged it can case problems further down the line as the pin won't slide smoothly.

Unfortunately I don't have anything suitable to heat it up or drill it out. I did try angle grinding a groove into what was left so I could try and turn it with a flat headed screwdriver but to no avail. Might try to see if an engineering shop can get it out as has been suggested.

If you still have something left to grip then heat will most likely get it out with out the need to drill. Good luck.
