Default XC90 Sun Visor

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but I couldn't find anything on a search.

For someone of my height (6' 7") who sits a distance away from the wheel the sun visor is inadequate - specifically it leaves a significant gap between the end of the visor and the A pillar and is of no help at all when used on the side window. Find it hard to believe that Volvo missed something so bleeding obvious and didn't design and fit extending visors - has anyone else encountered this and found a solution.

Other than that I have to say I can find no other issue with my MY17 XC90 Inscription with a few additional bells and whistles (winter and xenium packs etc)!

Cars are designed around averages! 6' 7" is not average, buy a cheap extender off Fleabay!

Nonsense - for one I can fit in the car comfortably and secondly I've had a number of cars in the past with extending sun visors - daft oversight by Volvo

Well they don’t have extending sun visors, so buy an extension, no one else has ever mentioned it so it’s likely my previous post is the point. There are very few brands that offer the feature.

Yes already seen those and that fixes the (more minor) side window issue as well as looking horrendous. The main issue as I described is when the sunvisor is in the down position over the windscreen it leaves a significant and blinding gap between the hinge end of the visor and the A pillar - also given the way the visor sits in the roof lining any add on such as you quote would end up getting bent and probably mark the roof lining. So yes I can cludge something together but it would be nice to have a factory fit option that works - that was my point
