244DL Wiper Arms

Looking for a set, (or even one), of black wiper arms to fit 'push fit spindles' with flat 'bayonet' style blade fittings to suit a 1980 244DL anyone out there able to help ?

I've had similar discussions with a VOC member, who came up with the below. I think he has a 145 though, but may help you out.

Just to keep you informed, after a lot of inquiring about the replacement wiper blade refills I have at last had a result. The Volvo 16” (Anco) wiper blade refills for the front went under the part number

681207 which are no longer available. The correct Anco stock numbers for the front and rear refills are:

Front 16” Stock Number 690

Rear 13” Stock Number 660

These I have managed to obtain on E-bay from America.

As an alternative, Bosch sell a pair of 18” wiper blade refills which have to be cut to size. I am trying one at the present time on the rear wiper, so I will have to see how it goes.

I do not know if you have a Aldi store near you, but last Thursday our local store had Michelin wiper blades for sale and the kit included a 7mm bayonet adaptor which fits our wiper arms. The wiper holder is black, but it is better than nothing.

Hi, Thanks for your informative reply, I don't think I worded my request very well, (I have done an edit), but it is the actual wiper arms that I am looking for, not the modern bolt on ones but the type that go onto the 'push fit spindles' and have flat arms ends to fit the older bayonet style blades, rather than the more modern 'hook type' ends.
