Tempting fate here but PA2 favouring the left hand side of a lane is the only thing I've had the car back to the dealer for( apart from a service.) When I picked it up I was told that it had been re-calibrated and should be better. It is! Still not totally comfortable when passing large vehicles but if you watch other drivers you will see that most favour the right hand side of a lane when overtaking.

I've driven around 3000 miles since picking up my S90, and about 2/3 of those have been with PA switched on.
Had my first glitch today when the car inexplicably drifted from middle lane about halfway into the outside lane on the motorway; luckily no cars around so I let it happen and it corrected after 3 or 4 seconds.

But I have also noticed that it stays very far to the left side of the lane when passing large trucks - any ideas why it tends to do this to larger vehicles and not smaller cars? Or is it just a perception thing.

Really?? Luckily no cars??? If you did as you're supposed to do and kept you hand on the wheel you should have corrected it rather than let it drift.

If there had been a collision you would be getting into some deep do do!

Actually, your dealer is lying, it cannot be adjusted and is set to sit in the middle of the lane. If you could see the car from above you would see it sits directly in the centre between the two white lines, admit it can sometimes be a bit disconcerting passing trucks, but all you need to do is adjust the steering yourself.

Sorry S90, I have to disagree.
See my post #15 earlier in this thread.
Also when Autoglass replace a windscreen they advise getting the system checked and re-calibrated either by your dealer or they are now starting to do it themselves.

Recalibrated is not the same as adjusted, the Pilot Assist system cannot be adjusted to sit further to the left or right.

As I said in post #15, I complained to my dealer about the car hanging to far left especially when overtaking. They had it into the workshop and whether it was an adjustment or a recalibration they carried out the result was the car sits more to the right now than it did before.
I don't really care what they, or you, call it the effect is the same - the car travels more to the right of the lane than it did and overtaking is more relaxing expecially for passengers.

Well, as I said, the distance from the white line is not adjustable so I would think that your perception that they did something is more likely.

My perception has little to do with it, it is fact and has been commented on by several of those people in the passenger seat even before they knew the car had been into the workshop.

S90: My hands were on the wheel, and I was fully aware of the surroundings - I let it drift as I wanted to know how far it would go before it corrected itself, if at all.
But you are absolutely correct, if I hadn't been watching and something had been overtaking me, I would have hit them for sure.
