Last service it was changes to auto wiper setting being retained
My next service will have a change to the seat belt audio reminder
If I see that then I know the update was performed
What I am not so keen on is the inability to see the oil at the end of a dipstick. How do you know that was changed ?
@GlenEagles could you help with the below 2 questions please, thanks.

1. How do I check auto wiper setting that you have mentioned above. At engine start up value I see as attached image.

2. Click YouTube video link below - is this how your sealt belt warning sound chime?

My car is a XC60 so there may be some differences
I was giving the wiper and seatbelt changes as an example
You need to look at the Volvo updates list and see what visible changes you should expect
As I said at my last service a year ago I was looking for the auto wiper setting to stay on after every start rather than having to select it each time I got in the car
This was the case
It is selected by the button on the RH stalk and will show in the row of indications at the top centre of the drivers display as an arc (wiper) with a water droplet
See Manual

I think the seatbelt warning in the video is as mine is now
I will not see any difference until my next service is carried out next week
Hope that helps

The auto wiper symbol only shows when parking brake is off, it replaces that symbol.

Thanks, I didn't see the wiper change update for xc90 Reg 17 in the updated list online.

Yes sealtbelt warning sound was part of June 2021 updated from volvo. And sealtbelt sound is different in my car. Another guy who had his car serviced in sep 21 has confirmed its the same sound as in the video and mines not.

I'm still trying to find a way how to check if the dealer has updated the software or not. Volvo should made this info available on its Sensus saying your cars system was last updated on xyz date, exactly as we see for our computers/tabs/mobile phones. It would not cost them a damn thing extra but give us the customers a piece of mind.
