Thought I would post an update on mine since I started this thread.

The fault persisted for a while, then it got sporadic, after a few weeks it stopped, so since about late May the fault has not recurred. I still have the same light units, the fault cleared and there is no moisture in the light at the moment despite all the recent rain.

Tempting fate I know, but I suspect it was a result of the way the car was washed prior to delivery and water managed to get into the cluster somehow.

Mine is a late 66 plate, almost 17 plate.

Before I tried to get my hands dirty or send the car to the dealer for a light replacement, it started working again.

The thought of parting with £630 for something that potentially doesn't need replacing gives me shivers.

Touch wood the problem doesn't come back.
