Default Rear brake sticking

I have had a problem with the rear brakes beeing i bit sticky.
Especially the drivers side.
What i have done so far:
Overhaled the caliper (Works fine)
Changed the brake hose + blead the system
Brushed the gliding parts on the caliper for debri/rust

The handbrake is fine, and i have gone over its components.

I can se that there is two different brake pads available for this car, could that have something to do with the problem?
I have the pads to the left

My 2006 S40 has the ones on the right.
I have not seen the one on the left available.
The piston diameter needs to sit inside the lugs/pins on the rear of the pad.

So the piston needs to be clamped between these lugs?
So when assembling it kind of sticks to the piston?

Not familiar with that type of pad.
But if they were in my caliper they would cause the pad to be in contact with the disc without pressure applied.

I stand to be corrected but they don't look correct to me.
For the sake of safety just purchase the genuine Volvo pads.
Plenty of Volvo dealers on ebay offering them at a good price.

Solved the problem now!
The issue was with the caliper gliding pins.
I took out the rubber that the gliding pins sits in, and there was alot of white rust there.
It pushed down on the rubber wich made the passage for the gliding pins narrow.
The caliper now glides like it should, and the brakes no not stick

You did refit the rubber didn't you ?
These also act as a boot to prevent water ingress.

Yes. Since i did not have new ones i cleaned and greased the old ones befor refit.
I used calipper grease inside the boot and copper paste outside to prevent rust.

Copper paste outside? Do you mean you put copper grease on the outside of the rubber boot?

If so, that’s not a good idea. Copper grease will eat rubber over time. I suggest cleaning that grease off the outside of the rubber boots, if that’s what you’ve done.
