The symptoms appear when the outside temperature is over 20 Celsius so until we see these temperatures I wont’t be able to tell if it’a fixed or not.

In the meantime I’ve changed the TMAP sensor - different issue
Cleaned the MAF
Changed charge air hoses

If I have the symptoms again I’ll update

When was the air filter last changed? Mine was clogged up with dust (less than 12mths old). If it’s clogged, not enough air is getting to the engine until the revs increase , but that will throw all the boost sensors out. Mine was triggering a P2263 code and service message. Changed EGR, Map, boost valve and had vac lines smoke tested. Nothing fixed it. Cost a fortune then one £15 air filter later and cars runs perfectly. Wish I’d tried that first!

Air filter is changed yearly so that was not the issue.
I’ve recently cleaned the MAP sensor(picture attached) and the last couple of days were warmer and had no symptoms, will see how the car behaves

Back at it again, but the car behaves different now, it’s not a judder anymore it feels like loss of power for a second and it’s only happening around 2k rpm mark and only when the weather is hot…..

Any ideas ?

I had a similar issue, but I had codes for upstream O2 sensor malfunction (P2A00 and P0130). I've replaced the sensor with Bosh OEM sensor and it seams that the jearking is gone. I've did only about a 1k km after the change, so I can't say for sure yet.

Old O2 sensor wasn't completely dead so the jearking wasn't consistent, but the voltage was too low and would sometimes drop to 0 V. Not sure but it seams like that was the trigger for a jerk.

Try to see if that fits to your case, maybe it will help you find the issue.

Quick update: I've read the faults again and it did show an O2 sensor fault. I've since changed the sensor and seems the jerking has disappeared.
