Default Monitoring VEA EMAP sensor value?

I'm getting the odd hesitation/stutter on acceleration and MPG seems worse. No warning lights and no DTCs (active or pending) coming up on the Torque app but I've seen a few posts where a blockage in the EMAP sensor pipe can cause these symptoms, so checking the sensor output value seems like a sensible first step.

Has anyone been able to display this on either the Torque or Car Scanner app?

Hello,

I managed to capture EMAP values using Car Scanner app. Here is my post from some time ago: https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showp...3&postcount=62

My 2015 XV60 (D4, VEA) also suffers from hesitation/stutter on modest RPM (1200-2000). So far I didn't found cause of this. although I didn't check'd EMAP pipe for blockage.

Haven't had that so maybe there's another problem. Any ideas?

Interesting, I'll spend a bit more time experimenting with Car Scanner. If it gives ~100kPa with the engine off and much higher, heavily modulated readings when driving around then that pipe can't be blocked!

Unfortunately your link doesn't work for me but I don't have a check engine indication nor those DTCs, which I believe indicate a blocked EGR cooler (something I've previously suffered).

Yes, thanks, the third paragraph in your post sort of describes the problem I'm concerned about, although I have no warning indications. I'll obviously have to whip off that pipework to clean it out if I find that the sensor readings indicate that it's blocked. Hence hoping to understand how to access the sensor output readings.

Yes, We used a blue tooth ODB2 and Car Scanner Pro on a smart phone to read the pressure sensor output. The live monitoring of the exhaust pressure sensor lead us to believe that the pressure sensor pipe was blocked.

Same Here Zebster took mine into Shrewsbury, I couldn't fathom it out.
Turns out a pipe to the turbo gets blocked/damaged, Replacement cost £211.20, fitted.
