Dash Out!!

Hi all i have a 3.2 with blown pasenger air bag small collison just where the sensor was nearside, a second hand dash with airbag seems reasonable around £90-110 off ebay, does anyone have experience of swaping this out, also drivers pretensioner which also blew! Front bumper rewuired and crash bar but thats all external damage this tank suffered.!!

You'll also have a crash alarm stored in the airbag control unit, which will need to be reset (if possible)

Had the dash out in a P2 V70, as it had a missing passenger airbag when I bought it (another story that’s on the board somewhere).

Seem to remember that wasn’t too bad as long as your methodical, assume the 90 is very similar. I remember there’s a hidden bolt somewhere under the dash centre speaker hole, also you need to be very careful taking it out as it nearly fouls the gear stick circuitry (may not be an issue on the larger car).

If you dig through my threads in the P2 V70 section from around 2013/4 you may find a description, can’t remember if there’s any pictures though - and if there was photobucket has probably blocked them…
