Default Wheel alignment xc60

I’ve got a 2019 xc60 r-design with pilot assist and lane warning. My steering wheel is maybe a degree or so to the right so am thinking the tracking may be out. When we got the car there was a slight bulge in the near side front tyre which I had replaced so it probably had hit a kerb at some point. Anyway if I get the tracking done then does the camera/radar system need to be re-aligned. Can this be done by a standard tyre place or do I need to find a specialist using laser type system. Any idea on price ? I contacted my local Volvo dealer via their email system and not got a reply yet.

Thanks

Denis

Pilot assist and lane keeping work by the radar/camera detecting the white lines on the road, I doubt that getting your wheel alignment checked will any effect on those.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that it also takes an input from the steering position although obviously that’s slightly out already.

DenisP, you are correct in your thinking. If you have Wheel Alignment done and adjustments are required (by the sounds of it there will be on yours to get the steering wheel centralised again) then yes, the cameras, radar and even headlight systems will require aligning with the new geometry too as they all take an input from steering position.
The majority of quality workshops now have the required ADAS calibration systems to allow them to complete this task following an adjustment such as wheel alignment.
