Default V60 Throttle Actuator Control Motor Circuit.
My 'Check' engine light appeared the other day so had it checked for dodgy codes and P2101 and P1589 showed up - they're both linked to the throttle actuator thingy.
The car still drives fine but makes a screeching sound when turned off. It's a 2014 with 94k.

Do any of you have any idea of probable cost supply/fit?

I've contacted my local Volvo dealer but they haven't replied with price yet.

Is it a diy job?

Any info gratefully received. Thanks.

that sounds like the teeth are stripped off the gear inside due to the flap sticking in carbon build up around the throttle plate , check it out.
