Brake Pressure Sensor - Part Number
Hi All,
I have just had the 'Anti-Skid Service Required' warning message appear on my 2005 V70. I've put it on a code reader and got the error message BCM-0133 brake pressure sensor 2 : signal too low. From reading other threads on here, I believe I just need to replace the faulty sensor. I'm going to get them from an online parts supplier but wondered if anyone has the correct part number for the sensor? I don't want to have the wrong parts sent! Thanks in advance. |

Your best bet would be to call up your local Volvo dealer asking for a quote and for the part number.

Hi
Or if it`s this you`re after then they are bloody expensive. You`d be better off sourcing one from a breakers. Part number = 3524132 Last edited by VOLVOBOY; Jan 28th, 2020 at 13:20. Reason: forgot the part number |

Car is at garage having failed MOT. They tried to source a spare but said the threads were the wrong size, Volvo want £230 for a new part. To save ordering the wrong one - second hand Ebay job, does the p/n 30793669 match up with the numbers the garage gave me: ATE - 55cp01 - 01 10.0522 - 9927 My car is 2005 D5 (163) - earlier engine no i.e pre 349809. The pics on Ebay show the part 30793669 with 55cp01 - 03 etched on it. Will 55cp01-01 and 55cp01-03 likely be interchangeable? Cheers |

Hi.
I think you`ve answered your own question. If the garage tried to fit fit that part with those numbers and it didn`t fit then it must be wrong. If you have seen another part that matches Volvo 30793669 , with different numbers on it , it must be right. The difference between `01` and `03` could relate to the thread size and that the sensor part of the body is the same. |

Cheers Volvoboy
The garage tried to fit a generic motorfactor part, but it had wrong threads. As they ordered it I don't know much other than that. I have seen / now ordered the second hand breaker part and hope it is the correct one, but manufacturing stamp number differs - 01 vs 03. I phoned the Volvo dealer, they want £270 for the part new, he said there were two types but they have the same part number??? Just wondering if anyone knew the differences - e.g. if they changed between engine variations. Hopefully will be OK as have ordered the full bit including the main body so thread size of sensor it's self shouldn't matter - I hope. |
