Default Retro-fit bluetooth phone option

Hi,

Wondered if anyone could help answer a query...

I've got a 2010MY XC60 D5. It has the full infotainment option with NAV, but bluetooth was not ordered as an option by the original buyer. So although there is a 'Phone' button on the system, if you press it is says phone not available (or something similar).

I'm very interested in trying to retro-fit the original bluetooth setup. I know I could go for an aftermarket kit, but would much rather use the screens already there than have additional 'stuff' mounted in the car.

Is it possible to do this? I have spoken to one Volvo parts place so far and not got anywhere. I have checked on the forums but not found anything conclusive.

Any help appreciated,

Cheers.

I think that you are breaking new ground in this forum

Unfortunately I do think that a competent dealer is the way to go as they should know what is available to resolve the issue - post back with your solution though as that will help others
