  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Default Intermittent infotainment problem

Hi. I have recent bought a Volvo XC60 2013 which I love. I have though an annoying intermittent problem with the radio/media/tel screen on the dashboard.
80% of time it loads up fine. takes about 20 seconds and boots up with whatever was being used last, ie radio etc.
sometimes though it just doesn't boot up properly and comes up with a AM/FM screen, and nothing else works apart from all the setting sections. so no radio telephone or CD player etc.
I have found if I turn it off leave for about 5 mins until all electronic noises stop the restart the car it quite often boots up properly. If it was a computer I would turn it off and on again, is this possible any help gratefully received I have searched the forums but can't seem to find anything similar easily.

I had this same issue in my previous XC60 which is easily resolved by a software update from your local dealer.
To get more precise info, suggest you post your question in the appropriate forum for your 2013 model as per below:
