Hi Ron, Ive got an 53 plate S60 D5 SE for sale, but im after £3500ovno

S60 D5 SE Manual on a 53 plate (nearly a 04)
Lovely Titanium Grey Metallic in superb condition
MOT Jan 2011, Tax 09/10
1 private owner before me
108k with full volvo history bar the last one
Volvo Cambelt & Tensioners done at 102k along with an oil service (Rufe supplied the kit)
New Falkens all round about 2000 miles ago
New drop links
New front discs and pads fitted 30/06/10
New Philips Night Vision bulbs a couple of weeks ago.
New CV and driveshaft bolts fitted in June
Full Beige Electric / Heated Leather
Fitted Floor mats
Winter Pack
Touch Up Kit
4 Disc In Dash Changer Stereo (superb)
EGR Cleaned


The odd tiny mark on the body, but no major dings, dents or scratches and the wheels are in great nick too.
2 working fobs, all manuals and some invoices and previous MOT's
(the previous owner had STACKS of paperwork, but threw it all out as he traded it in for a Lexus, and Lexus werent bothered )
Interior has hardly a mark and has never been smoked in, and the leather is lovely and still smells fresh.

The car runs perfectly, and is averageing 42mpg mixed driving.

1, Slight graze on plastic trim on the rear bumper

I have a 53 plate S80 SE auto, full leather, sat nav, volvo phone kit, TV, 17 inch wheels.
95000 miles 4 new tyres, new intercooler, timing belt done and 4 discs and pads at 88000.
Gearbox oil changed at 58000 and again at 90000 it also has a motad oil cooler fitted to the gearbox, thule removable towbar with 13 pin euro plug.
This was Dundee councils civic car untill two years ago when i got it with 58000 on it, i have serviced it every 10000 miles since. it

It has given me no problems at all i am only selling as i need a larger towing capacity for a larger boat.

I am about to put it into the auction where they recon it will fetch £2750 to £3250.
I had the price of £2500 in my head and would be happy to take that.
The car is in good all round condition a few scratches here and there.
If you send me a PM i will arrange some photos. i am 5 min from Edinburgh airport and can pick you up.

thanks guys and sorry for the slow response. i was away on business. Im sorted now thanks and actually settled for a merc i know, but after driving both cars have to adnit its a better all round car for me anyway.

This might be ideal for me if its still available assuming its diesel.I need to sell my 59 plate nissan note diesel first as its too lightweight for towing.If your not in too much of a hurry to sell then let me know and i will contact you should i manage to sell my car.Im in Motherwell so only 30 minutes away.

Thanks for getting back to me.I Dont have enough post count to send PM yet.Got the Nissan Note going into the paper tomorrow at a good price so hopefully should have some interest in the following few days.I dont want to waste your time by coming to see the car until i know mine is sold.I am very interested though as it sounds ideal.Can you confirm the kerb weight and maximum towing weight.
