Default Infotainment System Display - Night / Day

Hi, anyone know the solution to this?

During the day, my Infotainment Display switches to black font on a white square in sunshine; and when it's night time or a cloudy day it displays white font on a black screen.

I've read the user manual and it doesn't mention any change in settings, but it does show a link to the phone antenna near the rear view mirror, so I'm guessing there's a day light sensor there that's supplying info to the infotainment display.

Does anyone know if there's a button sequence, etc I can use to set the display to its night time setting (white font on black screen), please? (I don't have Vida/Dice).

Thanks.

Hi,

I can't comment on your XC90 as mine is a 2006 model with the green LED display.

However I also have a 2008 S80 which has a black on white (day) or white on black (night) display as you describe.

I can't see anything in the car's menu or handbook that allows you to change the display. As you say, it seems to be controlled by the light sensor on the car.
