Infotainment System Display - Night / Day
Hi, anyone know the solution to this?
During the day, my Infotainment Display switches to black font on a white square in sunshine; and when it's night time or a cloudy day it displays white font on a black screen. I've read the user manual and it doesn't mention any change in settings, but it does show a link to the phone antenna near the rear view mirror, so I'm guessing there's a day light sensor there that's supplying info to the infotainment display. Does anyone know if there's a button sequence, etc I can use to set the display to its night time setting (white font on black screen), please? (I don't have Vida/Dice). Thanks.

Hi,
I can't comment on your XC90 as mine is a 2006 model with the green LED display. However I also have a 2008 S80 which has a black on white (day) or white on black (night) display as you describe. I can't see anything in the car's menu or handbook that allows you to change the display. As you say, it seems to be controlled by the light sensor on the car. Paul |
