1997 940 Estate for sale
Hi,
Time has come to say goodbye to my 940 estate after 9 years as it is not getting used these days (under 200 miles in the last year). Also, with two other classics I don’t have time or space to keep on top of the maintenance anymore. Would prefer it to go to somebody on the forum who will appreciate and look after the car before I open up to ebay etc. Car is a 1997, SE, LPT manual. Details on the attached. Drop me a message if interested or if more information required. Located in Caterham, Surrey near M25 J6. Cheers, LeeP |

What an excellent write-up Lee and a realistic price. I hope it goes to someone on here. There comes a time for us all!

I agree, excellent write up and a lovey looking car! If I were in the market I would be visiting!
It deserves a good home, good luck with the sale! |

Thanks to all above.
Not easy to think that after 35 years of Volvo ownership and 30 years of 700 / 900 ownership there will not be a Volvo on the drive anymore. I'll also miss the great help and advice on this forum! I'll see how much interest there is and then decide what to do. Cheers, LeeP |

Naaa,
I'd keep that, you know it back to front and it's always there like a sincere friend. I've gone the other way, l've had my Wentworth 8 years but had 940's before that, then l rebuilt an Amazon which took several years but l've only done 400 miles since and now l've got a V70 D5 1 lady owner......so 3 in the stable but this is not uncommon amongst the Volvo guys. Great bunch of good people with so much back up, it's not just about the cars but they are the common link, the most reliable, safe well engineered cars l've ever owned............................KEEP IT. and Best Wishes. |

I've passed on the details to a good friend who already has a 940 but is interested in adding to his stable ...
