Default 15g turbo upgrade

Ive managed to get hold of a td04 15g with a straight exhaust housing. My question is will the conical exhaust mate to it and seal? Or will i need to replace the flange with one from an 850?

Also does anyone have a picture of one clocked with a modified actuator bracket?

clocking wise this is what I have for my 19T.

Royal PITA to make the wastegate work correctly without it.

I thought for a 15g to fit a 940 down pipe you need a turbo from the early 850 t5 conical

Thanks, i may resort to buying one of those if i cant knock anything up to mount it.

In regards to the exhaust i couldnt find one with the matching conical hot side, this one popped up for a good price so ill have to make do. I just need to know if i can seal the conical downpipe or need to buy a new flange before i swap it

You’ll need to do something with the top of the downpipe as the comical downpipe won’t bolt onto a flat flange turbo. You could cut the top off the downpipe and weld on another flange, or keep searching for a comical housing.

Classic swede used to supply these adapter plates, but appears to be out of stock - perhaps try emailing to see if they’re going to be restocked?

I made my own CAD designs for my Turbo clocking adapter and the flange then had T5sweep laser cut them from stainless for me. I then adapted the plate to fit the turbo correctly and counterbored the exhaust flange on my lathe. Then I built the rest of the exhaust to go with it
