Hi,
Where's the best place to get one of these, volvo dealership? I would prefer a stainless clip if someone can point me in the right direction. I checked mine tonight after reading this, and it's really rusted, despite the full service history. I would have thought the dealership would have picked up. Slightly off topic but is there anything else I should look for as a Volvo newbie. |

Not to be difficult but we do have a temp gauge , and if it start to get over 95 celsius , you just dont continue before checking the problem, at 120 degrees its generally a bit late.

A temperature gauge is no good to you when the bottom hose blows off , you loose ALL your coolant in 2 seconds flat .... a huge cloud of steam ... If you stop immediately you should be ok , but the steam will clear as quick as it came and you may think it is ok . There is no longer any coolant surrounding the temperature gauge sender so it may well drop ! You keep going and the internals drastically overheat before the heat soaks through to the temperature sender and the needle goes up to the end . By then it is far too late ...
