Thank You but the question I was Asking is what disconnecting the battery does.
Does it reset the the whole system

Whilst it does not reset EVERYTHING, it is the largest reset you can do without diagnostic equipment

Example: airbag faults cannot be reset by disconnecting the battery. You need proper diagnostic equipment to reset airbag faults.

When it beeps look at the instrument panel, a warning beep is usually linked to a sign such as door open, lights on, seat belt or other issue.
