Default Vacuum pump noise

I'm looking to see if a vacuum pump repair kit is available for my 2013 D4 AWD xc60! Has anyone has any issues with a noisy pump and were you able to get it repaired as I've seen on some site that apparently a kit is available but have spoken with local Volvo dealer who recon new pump!

Thanks Ad

That's it a popping/rattle noise, I've spoken with local dealer who advised a repair kit will sort it! I nearly fell through the floor when I went and collected it £69.60 for the smallest piece of plastic and a screw ever!

Hiya mate. My v60 d5 2013 started making this noise. I didnt see your post, i started another one. https://youtu.be/9Fy7QddHbrE
Its irregular popping etc. After seeking advice from the FB groups, a mechanic strongly recommended to change the vacuum pump valve. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F222631126357
Popping goes away after applying brakes and comes back after i rev it a bit on idle

He said they changed around 5 already and it was never the pump itself, just that valve, which is apparently easy to install but bloody expensive for what it is. Another guy mentioned egr cooler vac lime but didnt support his theory. Ill be away till end of June, ill be giving it a go unless somebody got any better idea.

£36 from the States. I bet postage wouldn't be more than a few quid either - definitely less than £34!!!
