Brand new Nokian WRG2 cold weather/winter tyres
http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Nokian/WRG2.htm
http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/rshop.p...110&sowigan=Wi I have just bought 4 new WRG2 winter tyres but the car has died - they arrived this morning in the post and the gearbox on the car died yesterday evening ! These tyres are brilliant, quiet and long lasting enough to leave on all year if you need to and work fine in summer but in the winter stay supple and enable you to drive on ice/snow in a way which summer tyres can only dream of. Handling is good and predictable and they are not too soft like many winter tyres. These are 195/60-15 and fitted my series 1 V70, they are H rated to 130mph and also 92 load rated with XL (extra load) so the carcase is a bit stiffer than many other similar tyres, again giving better handling. These are not full on snow/mud tyres - they are designed for northern European cold winters, bit of snow, bit of ice/slush and generally wet and cold whilst still performing better than the cheaper summer tyres in the dry. Brilliant tyres - that's why this is my second set. They cost me £314 delivered, can be collected form North Herts or I can deliver short distance or deliver to Newcastle-under-Lyme/Stoke as I go there most weekends. I'm asking £250.
