Sorry to read this thread Mike.

I think the problem is poor moderation, but mods can only respond to what they see, so perhaps more use of the report button is called for.

I asked the mods a technical question about the forum software and didn't get a reply, perhaps they're not up to the job? Perhaps we need more mods?

I help moderate a forum and any complaints from members are dealt with quickly. The troublemakers soon get the message and those that don't get kicked off.

For example posts 13,15,16,18 and 19 on here would get deleted under a "tidying up" excercise.

I also have missed the unkindness or not recognised it, and I am concerned about it.

And yes, we have a member so very unhappy, perhaps can the mods help?

Thanks for recognising that it was with the intention of backing another member up. It wasn't the first time a member had spent thousands with this guy, and I've been 'had' by people in the past, so although I agree it wasn't my fight, it struck a chord.

Jumping in with size 12's didn't have the desired effect unfortunately. It's horrible that Mike felt he had to leave as a result of my bull-dozer tactics.
