Parts needed
After losing my v70 tdi in an arson attack I have just treated myself to a 1996 850 r auto estate from the local salvage auctions. It had been kerbed on the passenger front wheel breaking the wishbone and the driveshaft is missing a joint. Remarkably the wheel seems ok as does the bodywork. My questions are as follows.
1/ Is the driveshaft generic for any 850 auto or is it a beefed up one for a 850 r? 2/ I understand that the wishbone is heavier duty on the r any ideas on what I need to look for? 3/ Anyone got the parts cheap?? It seems quite remarkable that for these 2 components the car was written off cat c but hey that made it affordable so I am not complaining. Look forward to your replies |

the wishbones will be the same , Turbo and standard as are Auto and manual driveshafts are different .. there should be a white part number label on the driveshaft ..
