Discount at Dealers in Cheshire?

I'm thinking about becoming a member of the VVOC. Please would someone let me know whether, as a member, I would be able to get a discount on accessories (and their fitting) at any of the dealers in Cheshire (especially Speeds in Crewe and Rybrook in Warrington)?

I'm thinking of getting a telephone hands free kit installed and frankly, as the cost is £330ish, it makes sense to get it done after joining the club, if there are discounts to be had.

From my winter magazine, Rybrook in Warrington will do a discount for club members but it is negotiable rather than set. You will need to ask for the discount at the time you talk about the work.

Evans Halshaw in Stockport will also do a negotiable discount.

Most of the dealers will do some form of discount if you have enough brass neck to ask. They will rely on you not asking.

Even Arnold Clark will do you a 10% discount with one of their discount cards but you need to buy a car from them for that (new or used).

Hi. as a volvo specialist i am constantly on the phone to rybrook in warrington. the lads in the parts there are excellent. Gary, parts manager, will do anything, within reason, to get your business. As you may be aware Volvo UK started a discount scheme last year but unfortunately some agents will not pass it on to the customer. This is not the case at rybrook. I get up to 40% discount on parts. ok most are about 15% but anything thats saves is worthwhile.
Ring any agent and get part number and price. then ring rybrook and ask for discount. If you cant get much better from them, maybe if you are not trade, then ring me with part no and cost quoted. i should be able to get better from them.

what about a price on a Dog Guard and a floppy boot liner for a classic V70 ?

Local Main Dealer quotes £130 and £95 plus vat respectively, OK I can get 10% but thats still expensive (Audi charged me £79 all in for dog guard on an A4).

Nordic said about 135 for the guard but I think postage is on top.
