do 760 headlights fit a 740

I've tried Google and the search on here but can't find anything.

So is it a straight swap or is there more work involved.

Is there anyway to modify the 740 to get them to fit.

Also do you know if the 760 TIC lights fit the 900s? There's a 940 a couple streets away and the headlights and indicators look very similar.

I think pre-facelift B28 or B280 lights should go into a B230ET shovelfront.

My 760T is facelift and is also B230ET - but the bonnet is DEFINITELY not the same as shovelfront or 940 soI'm doubtful about the headlights.

My B234F is DEFINITELY the same as my 940 (B230FT) in the headlight area.

Incidentally, the B234F wing mirrors differ from both the shovelfront and the later 940 so it is possible that the same applies to headlamps. If there is an odd man out on headlamps, it's likely to be the B230ET 760T. Its wiper arms are unique to it.

I THINK I have seen 3 different (UK) sidelight assemblies too.
