V70 buying advice please

Hi,
Looking to buy a petrol V70 auto from 2002 onwards.Is there an engine that I should avoid? Should the turbo models be avoided? Does the 2007 onwards (last version) have many benefits over the previous one?
Which engine will be most reliable in your opinions?
Any tips or advice appreciated.

We find our 2005 2.4 diesel performs well.
