hello! got a DPF question V50 1.6 D4164T

hello! my mother got this volvo v50 1.6tdi from my grandfather before he died and now we have a few issues with the DPF as i understood i cant regenerate it or it wont respond as there is a change timer on this DPF I did a regen at work and told the car it got a new filter that didnt help

and now we got a new fault code about a fluid sensor for the additive fuid to the dpf but im not sure what type of fluid this is i found this "WALKER 80619" but im not sure if this is what i need for this car

im going to get a new DPF and add this new fluid when i finde it but do i have to change the whole tank? "Volvo Tank 31303293"

You need EOLYS fluid. The tank is on top of the rear axle. After refilling you need to use VIDA to reset the fluid (ADM) counter.

sweet thanks! so it is refillable? and how large is the tank volume?

im guessing VIDA is Volvos Diagnostic tool? we got WOW by Würth, bosch and a prologic tester so im guessing i can do it with one of those


im sorry im so late to get back to you just had so much to do the last few weeks the volvo is just put on the backburner until i get all the info and parts
