No mention of bumper removal in Vida as the condenser removes from below.

Your response is it for S80 pre 2006 Cars or S80 MK11 from 2006.

It's as per your vehicle details in your original question.
Not that it makes a difference as all S80 models share the same removal procedure regardless of platform/model year.

Contacted Volvo in Eastbourne and they stated that the front bumper has to come off and the labour time is around 3.5 hours.

Volvo in Eastbourne don't follow Vida then.
That said, I don't always follow Vida either.
Ultimately, it's about what gets the job done in the most efficient way.

Front of the car was removed, it didn't have to be removed.
There's a difference.

Volvo S80 MK 11 is different from MK1 S80 and the front has to come off as you need to remove the intercooler to replace the condenser. It does not come out any other way unlike the MK1 S80. Last Post on this condenser replacement.

Why do you keep trying to highlight a difference between MK1 and MK11?

The information I gave you was for your MK11 model directly from Vida..... You know, the workshop manual designed and compiled by the people who built your car.

You're not disagreeing with me, you're disagreeing with Vida and given that you haven't done the job yourself and started this thread asking for advice, your attitude towards that advice is a little confusing.
