Default C70 2004 Handbook & Sun NS Visor

Hi all, I'm a "returner" to the 850/C70 section.

I've just managed to acquire a very low mileage 2004 2.0T C70 , but it has no Owners Handbook - the US version available on line doesn't quite do it for me.
Does anyone have a 2004 C70 handbook they would be prepared to sell please?

Also I'm looking for a passenger side sun visor in grey or if it is possible to switch a good hinge from a replacement into the existing one any colour would be OK.

Many thanks
Alan

The hinges are moulded into the visor, they can't be removed - I've tried!

Also noticed that he battery clamp is missing.....someone's put the wrong battery in it and then "lost" that which holds it in place......no comment!

If the battery clamp is missing the little tether rope is also missing. How careless was the previous owner?

I didn't know there was supposed to be a tether, I had assumed the fitment was like my old 850. The battery completely fills the tray (both length and width) it could just be that whoever fitted the battery then couldn't refit the clamp due to the size of the battery, i.e. there no room to slide it on or lock it down
Seems they took care of the "cosmetics" but left under the bonnet to others who didn't take care or more likely had little knowledge of Volvos.

No idea what the 850 tray looks like, but my C70 has three little 'cut outs' on the front lip of the tray, this is to locate the clip for different size batteries.

There is a little hole in the clip about 3mm dia, for the rope and another hole in the base of the battery tray for the other end.

My V40 has the same identical set up.

Thanks ITSv40
It looks and sounds as though the battery trays and clamps in 850 and C70's are the same, so it probably means my old 850 might or should also have had a tether at some point.

If you get one from a scrappy, the connector for the light switch is behined the plastic trim, encased in a foam material that you will have to cut away befor you can disconect it.

Remove two torx screws
Pull visor free
Pull out light from trim
Pull down trim and follow wires to the foam block - two part connector is encased in the foam, cut away or snip wires and spice.
