Now we are getting somewhere..So it isn't a 19t after all but a hybrid..And didn't it start off as a 15g from Alan M so not really a 19t/18t?In other words its a 15g with a cheap Chinese 19T compressor wheel bought for £60???

why do you keep going on about an alan m who i dont know? its a proper 19t with a straight outlet exhaust housing, nothing to do with the wheel.

Wasn't your V70R also R reg, so also pre-dating the 19T being fitted by Volvo?
I wasn't aware the 19T came with a straight outlet on it, I thought they all came angled? |

i'm sure you're not really going to ask me such a dumbass question as that? does it really matter? at some point it was on a 2000 plate v70r then it was taken off and someone has split the turbo and put a straight flange exhaust housing on making it an easier fitment for any t5, last rolling road was 311bhp, next one next week

Not that dumb a question.
You are selling it as a 19T, and "ultra rare" - yet it has since come out that its a Hybrid, and not a full 19T at all? Surely a defining characteristic of a 19T is the angled outlet? Any play in the shaft? Damage to the wheels? Have you left the recirc valve on or blanked it? Will it come with a wastegate actuator? Does the straight outlet flow any differently to the angled? Better/Worse? What mileage is on the turbo, and what boost have you been running? (I remember you cranking it up to ~20psi on an MBC at Marlin Motors on the dyno day?) Come on, flesh your advert out a bit, you've been around enough forums to know how to write a good "for sale" post by now! Last edited by JamesV70R; Nov 14th, 2012 at 21:53. |
