anyone else feel smug while refuelling???
I cant help but feel really really smug when i am refuelling my c70 T5.
OK its a bit of a fiddle to put the nozzle on as mine is located on a box section hinged bracket that tucks into the bumper, but once on it is smugness all the way. just wondered if anyone else gets the smug feeling too?

Any smug feeling I have goes away somewhat when filling up an 80 litre tank with V-Power. The numbers flashing by are just too big for comfort.....

Nope, cant say as I do really.
The Volvo only takes petrol but, the Trans Am is dual fuel and to be honest, is almost always run on petrol anyway.. |

I get all excited burning Vpower, the quicker the better for me. It could be worse, it could be £5 a litre.

Refuelling with LPG... FatLadz? I know what you mean. I'm always bemused at how many people have closed minds - are prejudiced, indeed - against LPG. Still, it's their loss...

I have a V70 D5 and a T5 , the D5 always does over twice the mpg of the T5 no matter what the driving style ,( I have had up to 80mpg from the D5 and 37 mpg from the T5 but in both cases its just not a practical way to drive a car 25 and 55mpg are more realistic , ) and I thought that mpg on lpg is slightly worse than petrol so on this basis its not more economical than diesel even though its half the price . However doing it the way fatlad has done it makes sense to me and if I can find the bits for the same cost I will be doing the same to my T5 , it would turn it from its present gasguzzler status to a viable long distance car , would even consider gettting rid of the D5 as they seem to be going up in price again on the second hand market .

depends on how competent you are and how carefulkl you are id reccomend fitting yourself if you can find a dealere who will put his name to your work before giving yopu a certificate. but it really does need to be fitted to the correct specifications. luckily i spent 3 weeks researching into lpg before i starte fitting mine. otherwise your looking a little over a thousand pounds i have a £100 off voucher from Hytek Autogas that ill hapily pass on to someone geuninly interested in getting a gas installation from them.
