OK thanks, a question I'll ask the dealer, it's under 3 years old so presumably it will at least have some subscription left

I think the previous owner will need to have 'deregistered'. Otherwise VOC will be linked to their email address.

Picked up the ol' girl today!! Very nice. That d5 growl is just so impressive - sounds great and the pace is brilliant.
Some initial thoughts: -the speed camera 'bong' noise reminds me of being in an aeroplane!! - the cruise controls are backwards compared to my c30 - single press on the xc60 jumps it by 5mph an long press increases 1 by 1. The c30 is the opposite which makes more sense to me, but might just be used to it. - can't see media/song info whilst nav guidance is on...which is annoying, although does show info in nav screen providing there is no guidance. -geartronic - I can see why some think that it's slow and clunky, but I bet it's because it's being driven in the wrong way? I found it to be silky smooth when it's not driven hard all the time, sport mode certainly helps for a more b road spirited drive. And in all honesty no better or worse than the Audi tiptronic or whatever it's called in an a4 avant I've driven. - very quiet refined ride Crappy photos for now: |

Lovely looking car, hope it continues to impress! There's something about cream/beige leather that takes the interior up a notch in the luxury stakes (think Rolls Royce and Ferrari!), but it's harder to keep it looking good. I speak from experience having had beige for four years in my previous XC60 and now black in my current car (less impressive but easier to live with).
Don't know why Volvo changed the cruise control system. Agree it makes more sense for quick press for 1mph and long press for bigger jump to 5 mph, as it was in the earlier models. Volvo's boffins do like to keep us on our toes!

Love that wood trim, might see how much it costs to retrofit
