Volvo 940 Turbo Barn Find !!
Hi,
For sale 1997 940 Classic Turbo Estate , showing 106,000 miles and having a B230FT high pressure turbo engine and the M90 5 speed manual box. High spec having alloy wheels, half leather, tow bar, roof rails, dog guard, electric windows and mirrors, recent Volvo battery fitted etc Sweet engine starts and runs well , car drives and stops. Bought as part of a bereavement job lot , this car has been stored for several years and will require recommissioning. Be aware brake discs are rusty, some lamps will require replacing, tyres are up and legal but have signs of perishing. Air con is disconnected, under bonnet area will need cleaning , exhaust has slight blow, very minor scrape on left rear wheel arch, left rear door moulding missing.... V5C keepers document present, hand book and keys. Great project , deserves to be put back on the road. but will break up and sell as parts if no interest. £650 |

Would be a shame to break as it looks far too good. If it ends up getting split i would be interested in the rear seat....
Someone needs to save this! even if you spent a grand properly recommissioning you wouldn't be out of pocket, |

I'm trying to convince my mate he needs to break his 940 he dragged out from under a tree and save this one... it's not going well but I will persevere haha.

It's a shame if this car is broken down to get some parts. Best version of 900 series Volvo ever did.

It needs to be saved.

Be a great shame to see it broken but atm seems more get broken for parts than saved the old worth more in parts than complete scenario and if you not into Volvo in a big way and just looking to make some cash pound signs always win hands down

Whats the underneath of the car like sills etc and the battery tray in the front is it rusted away ???
