If the arm keeps falling off, then chances are, the repair kit won't make a bit of difference. The swirl flaps are completely clogged up with carbon. What you're seeing leaking is carbon that's turning to sludge with the heat of the engine and a bit of engine oil.

The plastic swirl arm keeps falling off because the flaps are blocked. There's no point replacing the plastic arm if the intake is clogged up. Replacing the arm, in essence, solves nothing. There's much more involved than that to stop this leak.

-Remove the intake.
-Clean it
-Clean the EGR/EGR pipework.
-Check the operation of the swirl flaps. If worn, replace.
-Then fit a new swirl arm (or the upgraded one)

**You'll need a new manifold gasket and injector seals. These aren't reusable.
Sorry I meant replace swirl flaps, not just the arm.
I believe you are meant to replace the high pressure fuel lines too but I would likely take the risk on reusing the old ones.

Okay, no problem.

Yes, by right you should replace the fuel lines, but they're expensive. I've heard of the lines being reused before.
