Deck Error
My cd changer is saying "deck error." I have a 2005 xc-90. (The good one) Please help! I am a DIY person with a very limited income, but I am very good with "plug and play" repairs, as long as there are no technical adjustments involved, so please tell me how to repair or fix this myself.

I had "deck error"on my xc90 a couple of years back and it was the loading elevator of the disc player that was knackered.Have you had the battery disconnected recently ??
peter.

Deck Error
Bootcie: This just happened to me over this past week-end in my used 2005 S40. Changer played fine all week-end and suddenly locked up on Dusty Springfield!
I can hear it trying to do something with the discs. There is nothing in the owners manual about "deck error". GCB: I was automatically sent to this location via Google by my search request. |
