Default V50 Headlights..Condensation.

Hi
Only had my V50 a few days now and noticed this afternoon that there was condensation inside the headlight unit,is this any cause for concern?
Thanks in advance

Had this on mine,my remedy was take headlight out and dry it out then put 2 or 3 small silica gel packs at the bottom of the headlight in the back cover. Had no further issues.

If the car has been hanging around a while it would have condensation .. It should dry of its own accord as you drive around with the headlamps on ..
Is it both headlamps or just one?
If it is a problem and will not clear suspect a water leak via a poorly sealed front plastic lens , or even the back cover of the lamp missing ?? .

I have this also on a 09MY. Both sides mist up, so i had the backs off the lights today and one had enough water in to be able to pour out on to the road!
I will have a go with the Silica Gel if they mist up again.

It wont ber a leak as BOTH have condensation , unless you have run into the back of something and split both lamps .

Default Headlight purchase

I have a late 2007 S40 sport one of the headlights keeps getting condensation inside even after drying out in the airing cupboard. Any suggestions on getting a new headlight at a reasonable price.Does the design change around this date.

probably a leak somewhere , can you run a bead of silicon sealant all the way around the lens where it is bonded to the headlamp body ?
