850D5252T Cutting out and Stalling

Hi All im newbie with a problematic 850 tdi

it starts fine when cold drives fine for a bit then the car coughs and the warning light comes on the cuts out and wont start for a couple of minutes this only happens intermittently slowly this has got worse and worse today the car broke down and wouldnt start for a very long time

can any one help what is happening to my car ?

Hi, it could be a number of things really. My advice would be to get the codes read as it WILL have stored something and then go from there.

Sigh.... start with the IP timing. Belt slipped a tooth probably. Lots of info on here about it.
