If you're certain that it's running 100% in standard form (confirm with diagnostics) and there are no underlying issues and you're not happy with it, sure, get a remap.

It's only done 73000 miles on a 56 fsh.
It drives lovely was only thinking of around 200bhp. |

Even more reason to check current data before a remap.
A lot can happen in 10 years so I would always check and never assume. A reputable tuner should do this for you if you don't know how. I've lost count of the instances where an owner says their car is perfect...... then a remap highlights an underlying issue.
