Default V70 D5 Mapping

I've recently bought a V70 D5 phase 3 and have had it mapped. I have removed the DPF and had it deleted. This standard was the 203bhp model. The issue i have is that up until about 2k it feels bit lacking in power. once it hits the 2k mark its like a rocket but until then just feels like its lacking. Am not sure if its just me or if this might be an issue any advice or comments?

Was it lacking before the remap?

I wouldn't say it was lacking, it might just be because all the power is top end. Just with it being the twin turbo i thought it might have been bit quicker at the lower end of the revs

Perhaps that's just the characteristics of the map you've bought?
Trying to solve a problem that may not be a problem is pretty much impossible so I would speak to your remap people.

its more than likely as you said the characteristics of the map. I think i just need to speak to somebody who has the same vehicle and has had theirs mapped and see how that car differs.

Hi put the car on a dyno, and then you can see what improvement and at what RPM, good tuners will put the torque higher up the RPM to save the clutch and so on, who did the remap, what did they say, if they moded the org map file them selves , and not using a map software writing company, they will tell you as thy will know what they have done,
