Default Sidelights on from Remote ?

Hi all -

Had my 3rd service last week and 1st MoT - passed with flying colours (35k).

Question - the "switch sidelights on" button on the remote control doesn't seem to be working since the service.... any ideas ?

Lock / Unlock / Boot release / Alarm buttons all work on the remote.

Main headlight switch is set to "Auto".

Not new firmware is it ?

This happened to me at 3rd service, but the button magically restarted working at 4th service. Probably some software update.

Isn’t there a setting in the menu structure somewhere to make this work? Only going from a vague memory of seeing something like this at one tome

Cheers folks. Might give the garage a bell - warranty expires this week, so would rather get it fixed if possible.

I tested as per wimorrison's suggestion, and it is indeed related to the Approach Lighting light settings. When I set this to 0, the button on the fob did nothing; when set to a value greater than 0, it started working. This is described in the car handbook.
