V40 1.8 Diesel Split pipe

Howdy,

I have no experience with the diesels so throwing this out there. My friends diesel suddenly lost power and it would appear that the pipe below the fan that goes back towards the engine and up to the metal piping, has a split. I am assuming this is the bottom intercooler pipe.

It looks like it, bit difficult to be sure from the photos. I had that one split on me last year, was about a inch and a half long and dead easy to change.

Cheers, it was. No idea why photobucket is being a douche either. But, yes it fit just right. £50 from Volvo...ouch, so saved him a few quid
