Default S60 Cluster Repair recommendations?

HI All

My S60's main beam indicator light doesn't work (Well it does when the cabin temperature is warm but not when cold).
I understand these cars suffer from dry joints in the cluster.

Now the question, can anyone recommend a company or individual to repair this for me? I'm located in the UK.

There seems to be a few ebay people offering it for around £100 and a these guys at from £40

Thanks in advance for any input.

I used Lukas recently and highly recommend him.
Around £80 once postage both ways are taken into account but all done within a couple of days.

Hello
I’m a new member & wanted to add my own endorsement of Lukas at Volvo Diagnostics in Rainham east London. I elected to email Lukas to pre-arrange a drive-in ‘while you wait’ fix of my DIM today, (SRS warning light, plus bulb gone for temp & clock read-outs).
Lukas is efficient, pleasant & professional, and completed the repair inside the hour he designated whilst I watched TV in the waiting room, which also serves as an observation area into the workshop.
Well worth the 30 mile drive from west London, which saved me waiting for the post service option.
Thumbs up from me, thank you Lukas.

Whilst the problem you're experiencing could well be a dry joint on the board, there is also the possibility that the symptom you describe could well be caused by a poor lamp holder connection or a damaged bulb filament. So before you send the board away, it might be worth checking the bulb continuity with a meter or even a simple circuit tester. Turn the lamp through 360 degrees as you test it just to make sure the filament hasn't been damaged by vibration. Similarly check the bulb holder connection to the board isn't corroded. Gently clean the contact point on the holder and the board and refit NB, with some holders you can increase the contact pressure by bending the contact strip on the holder slightly. Yours uses the smaller wedge type lamp within the holder so consider cleaning the contacts on the glass stem of the lamp as well.
