Unhappy 2004/5 T6 petrol auto - transmission pan

Hi all,
So today I tried to remove the oil pan from the auto transmission box, to drain the atf fluid and change the filter. Well, the key word there was "tried"! I could access every bolt bar one. There's this bolt that's partially covered by the sub frame, and it just seemed impossible to access clearly without risking burring it. Anyone else had this issue, and if so - what'd you do to address it (please don't say you removed the subframe) :-)

I have never done the job you want to do or own an xc90, I wonder if you could get away with jacking the engine on a piece of wood to give you the cleareance you need,
best of luck and dont give up.

Craig.

Yep can’t get to it with a socket etc - I was too far into the job to stop ended up jacking her up a little and bending a spanner to the shape I needed for access that bolt took me longer than the entire job !
